Om fraggelpjotten

Fraggelpjotten is the online pulpit of Peter Eliasson, that’s me, where I write about a variety of things that grabs my attention. While focusing on the craft of writing — and writing comics in particular — I also cover things like film, books and general usability.

Oh, and whining. lots and lots of whining.

My darling Ossian and myself in Slottskogen, spring 2004

Born 1971, lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, and father of two.

My fiancée has this to say about me:

This might sound strange, but I really appreciate is his brutal honesty. This characteristic can be shocking to some, but I think it’s brave.

Christopher, friend of mine, going back 30 years:

Peter possess an imagination and creativity that borders on the insane. He also has a very unusual and bizarre sense of humor. No one can make me laugh like he does.
He devours movies and books at a break-neck speed, he then memorizes and analyzes it, and lastly foistes his conclusions upon us.
Peter likes the simple things in life. Catch a movie, reading, cooking, good wine and the company of family and friends.

My life (so far) in reverse chronological order (latest update 05.12.16)

2005: My daughter Lova is born (with a birth caul, no less!).

2001: Ossian, my first born, enters the real world. I don’t get much sleep.

1993: Travels to Los Angeles and Columbia College, Hollywood, a film school. The experience of my life. And I gained 24 pounds.

1981: My parents get a divorce. Stupid, stupid parents.

1974: My little brother Martin is born. Finally, a play pal of my own!

1973: I get my first comic book, the first issue of Bamse by Rune Andreasson.

1971: Born at Sahlgrenska hospital the 14th of March, 1971. The year of the Rat, sheesh.
